Fall Traditions: Our Annual Pumpkin Picking

caramel trench coat // turtleneck sweater // black jeans // lace-up boots // pom beanie

It all started when Chase and I were dating and I, being fall-everything at heart, wanted to visit a real pumpkin patch! Not just a roadside stand or a lawn with pumpkins laid out, but a good old-fashioned, still in the field pumpkin patch. We were in luck and we found a beautiful apple and pumpkin farm near us that had EVERYTHING! ┬áIt was the complete package with corn maze, hay ride, petting zoo, and big ‘ole pumpkins. We had so much fun that the next year, when we had a tiny two-month-old baby Oliver, we went back and have gone back every October since. It is definitely more fun now that Oliver is a little older and can actually participate and have loads of fun!

This year the temperature had just dropped a day before to the perfect, bundle up fall weather! So bundle up we did and brave the cold to pet some sheep, calves, goats, play in corn, and make some memories. All the fun memories I have experienced I get to experience all over again but through the eyes of a two-year-old, and next year we will have another little one to make more memories with! I am loving this season, as well as this current season of life we are in!!

What are some fall traditions you have??
