29 Week Bumpdate

overalls // turtleneck (J.Crew, but sold out) // leather jacket // hat // buckle boots

How far along? 29 weeks!

Weight gain? 17 pounds

What am I wearing? I’ve still been wearing my regular pants with the help of a Bellaband, and I’ve just bought longer sweaters or sized up for most things, as well as stretchy dresses. My bump is still too small for maternity jeans to be of any use yet.

Movement? She is kicking and moving like crazy! At the doctors she constantly wiggles away from the doppler, and she is responding to my gentle pokes. She is most active in the middle of the night, which makes it even harder to sleep, but I still love it!

Cravings? Waffles!! I have been drooling over pictures of delicious waffles on Pinterest for weeks, but have yet to actually eat one. I’m waiting to find the perfect waffle!

Anything make you queasy or sick? Anything super greasy or fried, so pretty much all fast food.

How do I feel? I am definitely feeling more weight and larger sooner, despite my bump being smaller this time. Usually by the afternoon I’m pretty uncomfortable, but other than that I can’t complain. I was able to help my sciatica and back pain by seeing my chiropractor regularly, and that along with staying active has certainly aided my pregnancy aches and pains.

Labor signs? None, but not that I’m expecting any this early in the 3rd trimester. I also haven’t had any Braxton Hicks yet, and I’m hoping I don’t get any this time since I never got any with Oliver.

Stretch Marks? None so far, but that might be because there’s not enough room for any more since I got SO many when I was pregnant with Oliver.

What I’m looking forward to? Seeing her for the first time! I have been so much less anxious and stressed this pregnancy, which makes me actually excited for the whole birthing process (although I may not be saying that while in labor). Also, shopping for her is always so fun!

Here are my most used things:

  1. This Bellaband! Since I don’t yet fit in my maternity jeans, this band has been a money (and style) saver!  It makes it so I can almost all of my regular jeans work for maternity wear!
  2. Babylist is the best baby registry! I’ve used it for both pregnancies, and it’s perfect because you can list list things from multiple sites, and people can find it all on one site. It makes the baby registry process so easy!
  3. I know I’ve said it before, but I use this stretch mark lotion EVERY DAY! So far I don’t have any new stretch marks!

I’ll probably pop back in and give another bump date soon! Have a great week!

Xoxo
