I am a creature of habit, I always end up going back to the same style (no matter what I try), my outfits tend to have the same base pieces or accessories, I wear the same 2-3 pairs of shoes for almost an entire season, and when I find a piece of jewelry I like, I tend to wear it every day. Summer is usually when I rummage through my rather empty jewelry box and try to find some dainty, little jewelry pieces that I can add to my usual sundress and breezy warm weather looks. Today I am sharing some of my favorite jewelry pieces that I recently added to my collection from Benevolence LA – the perfect pieces that you can leave on for days and add a little something extra to your summer wardrobe. I’ll also be sharing…

I’m going to be honest with you, the first trimester and the beginning of the second trimester can be difficult in the sense that your clothes are getting smaller, and your maternity clothes are too big. It’s the awkward period, where you have a flat stomach in the morning, but look pregnant in the evening. If you’re like me, where you’re three months in and still barely showing, it can tend to look like you’ve just gained a bit of weight in the belly. Wearing tight clothes can make you a bit self-conscious (I know it makes me feel like that), because you’re not quite to the point of the cute little bump. During my first pregnancy I definitely didn’t take note as to what would compliment my changing figure, since I pretty much just wore a loose chef coat…

phillipa embroidered dress (on sale!) On our recent visit to Georgia, Chase and I took a little walk in the woods one morning while Oliver played with his aunts, and we snaps some photos along the way. It was so nice to escape the rainy, dark weather in Pennsylvania and be in the sunshine and warmth for a little while. My outfit is from Kindred & Kin, and they have some of the prettiest every-day dresses! This floral embroidered dress is so cute, and the perfect length! I usually prefer my dresses a little longer, #1: because I’m a little tall, and #2: it’s much easier to chase after a kiddo when you don’t have to worry about flashing anyone. This dress is the perfect amount of roomy and flattering, with a crocheted design at the waist to give you…

crossbody tie top // cut off shorts // heeled booties // black fedora Let’s be real, after having kids, getting into those short shorts that you wore before baby can be a little daunting. New lumps, curves, and stretch marks may hurt your self esteem and make you a little shy. While I still prefer dresses during the warmer months, I’ve finally worked up the courage to wear my shorts. Courage to show off my legs in shorts came with time, where it meant losing the baby weight and learning to accept and appreciate my stretch marks. I think that accepting my leg stretch marks took the longest, because with the baby weight, you can usually lose it. Meanwhile, your stretch marks are there to stay, but learning to love them will give you a sense of confidence. I’ve heard…

PinkBlush sage lace dress // beaded headband (old, similar here & here) Sunday Funday (because naps are my kind of fun)! We are gearing up for a rather busy month with most of our weekends full. I asked in a recent Instagram post if anyone had any recommendations for flying with a toddler. Although Oliver has already flown over 8 times, we’ve never flown with him as a toddler and he is a busy bee. Any suggestions would be so helpful! Also, if you have any recommendations for things to see in the Atlanta, Georgia area, comment them below! 🙂 Besides the help for travel, I just wanted to drop in and share this dress from PinkBlush that I’m so smitten with! It is so gorgeous with the lace overlay, and can we talk about the color?! I am in…
